About Me

Hello there, I am Grace Oluchi, welcome and thanks for stopping by.

I have spent the last decade of my career, working actively to cocreate, lead and collaborate on programs that advance the socio-economic inclusion and empowerment of women, youth, and persons with disabilities. My work while focused on West and Central Africa has been able to reach and impact people across all 5 economic regions and 30 countries on the continent. I believe wholly in the potential, capacity, and development of African youths in Africa where I am an active voice on issues of youth employability, tech, and entrepreneurship as well as policy for innovation and socio-economic development. In 2018, I was part of the team that launched Africa Finance Academy, the DRC’s first ACCA-licensed training and exam centre. I am an ILO – certified Business Development Service Provider and have supported innovators on projects including UNFPA FGM Accelerator, COVIDAction, Afriplastics, African Union Civic Tech Fund (AUCTF) Accelerator, AU Democracy and Good Governance in Africa Accelerator, UNFPA FGM Hack lab, Congo Techdays, Startup Weekend Lubumbashi amongst others.

I INTENTIONALLY support Women and girls, in fact, I dubbed myself a cheerleader for women’s Small and Medium Sized Enterprises constantly advocating for the equal representation of African women in tech, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Through my co-created programs like; Femmes 360 Capacity Building Program, Binti Tech, and Binti Bora; programs which have impacted 7000+ women in girls in Francophone Africa. I recently co-created Growth4Her an investor readiness accelerator program aimed at empowering 1500 WSMEs in West and Central Africa by 2025. Growth4Her was selected by the AFAWA-AFDB program as 1 of the 10 best from across Africa to support WSMEs in Nigeria and Cameroon.

My experience working in the Impact and socio-economic development space across the continent has helped me develop a distinctive set of skills and a broad outlook of the development landscape as well as a deep understanding of structures that can help initiatives, projects, and teams achieve higher impact.
